Did you know how the chopsticks have made?

1. It had cutted from bamboo trees

2. Produced by home industry (the pictures taken from midle of Vietnam region)

3. Had “whitening” by sulfur and hydrogen peroxida (of course without disinfectant)

4. A pickup of dessication process

5. A pickup of packaging for exporting process to overseas

6. The overseas shipping through sea vessel (too much expensive if used plane). This process need a long time, for instance it needs a month from Vietnam to Taiwan. Meanwhile, the packaging chopsticks have possibility to contaminated by feces of mouse or cockroach.

7. No disinfectant process of packaging

In this case, for every chopsticks cargo acceptance in Taiwan, would be distributed directly to home industry which will do the jobs of packaging, and without sterilization process, it will directly distribute to restaurants as the last destination.

9. Did you know that there are thousands of “little genie” or “little monkey” stay on the inside of chopsticks?

11. Here is the face of this “little monkey”. All the rest of liquid (it can be whitener, sulfur, hydrogen peroxyda, mouse feces, cockroach eggs, caterpillar eggs, larva, maggot eggs, etc) will stay on the inside of hole until you used them.

Have ever heard the case of maggots out from the chopsticks while used in a hot gravy cup?

Here is the experimentation of some elementary students:

1. Submerged the chopsticks in the water during a week, the result is a bad smell water

2. Some pea seed which sowing on this submerged water was slowly grew up and stop the growth at 5-6 cm and then dies.

3. A smoked combustion of the chopsticks have acidulous

So, what the best way to used the chopsticks? You just carry your own chopsticks!
